Since they have a smaller weight capacity than the standard set, they take up less space on the harness belt. Designed especially for the Dive Rite Transpac II Harness and the Dive Rite TransPlate system, this system is the perfect weight solution of all types of diving. The Dive Rite TransWeight Pockets are angled slightly forward when installed and feature top loading. This angle and loading position provides the most secure method of carrying detachable weight, without the aggravation of repeated accidental dumps. Each pocket is designed to hold 8 pounds of soft shot weight pouches and do not require an additional internal bag to hold the weights. The Dive Rite TransWeight 16 system mounts easily to the shoulder belt/waist strap plate and provides the perfect lower center of gravity necessary for perfect trim and balance. Unlike many weight systems, the TransWeight 16 pockets can easily be re-installed while under water.
