Description for Apeks Full Face Sports - Technical Mask :Full Face Masks - Full Face Sports/Technical Mask
This Full Face Mask has been developed for sports and technical diving.
The advantages of a full face mask over conventional regulators include
- protection in extreme environments
- reduction in jaw fatigue on longer dives
- more comfort in extremely cold environments
- underwater communication.
The Apeks Panorama Full face Mask features:
- Main sealing skirt is made of a soft EPDM elastomer which has a double sealing frame for maximum comfort and further prevents water ingress fitted with 3 Drager P Connectors.
- One located on each side of the soft body and one infront for the main demand valve
- Communications can be easily fitted using one of the 2 available side P connectors
- An oral/nasal piece which is designed to channel gas flow through one-way valves so that no CO2 enriched breathing cycles occur inside the mask
- A unique and comfortable way of pressure compensating using the integral swivelling nose clips. These allow the diver to pinch their nose and pressure compensate quickly and easily.
- Easy removal of he demand valve allows the diver to breathe ambient air whilst waiting to enter the water - thus conserving valuable air.
- The mask is easy to remove due to its quick release buckle system.
- An integrated spring loaded exhaust valve aids the expulsion of any water which may have entered the mask.
- The mask lens has a special anti fogging coating.
The second stage supplied with the mask has been specailly adapted to fit and operate with the Drager Panorama Full Face Mask. The Apeks Panorama has been CE approved and certified for the requirements od EN250 for demand regualtors and full face masks. CE type approval by Germanischer Lloyd, Hamburg, Germany. The second stage is easily fitted and removed from the mask both during dive (after the necessary training) or on land.
