Description for Mares Avanti Boot:This boot was designed to fit into the foot-pocket of the Avanti, X3, Quattro and Volo fins, in an effort to replicate the efficiency found in full foot fins. With the typical open heel fin, the amount of power traveling from a diver‘s legs to the blade of the fin, results in a loss of efficiency. By molding these separate pieces in a way that allows them to create an unmatched synergy when put together, maximum power is achieved. The result: easier kicking with greater speed and less effort (and therefore less air consumption). Leg cramping can occur when your foot and fin are less than snug. Application of a true arch support, along with the "anatomic last" (the sole of the foot), gives performance that rivals a freediving full foot fin, even for the smallest and most narrow of feet.
