Description for ScubaPro Spitzbergen Neoprene Drysuit:Neoprene drysuits have been the standard for extreme exposures of cold, depth, and duration for 25 years. The primary disadvantage to neoprene drysuits is that they tend to compress at depth, losing buoyancy and thermal efficiency. SCUBAPRO neoprene drysuit avoids that situation with Hi Density compressed foam neoprene.
The SCUBAPRO Spitzbergen Neoprene drysuit features 4mm Hi Density compressed neoprene with a Nylon lining and tough abrasion resistant special weave nylon fabric exterior. The Hi Density neoprene is pre-compressed, resulting in a dense foam that is less susceptible to compression and crushing under the high pressures found at depth. This means there is less change in suit buoyancy as pressure changes. Also, the material resists compression, staying thicker at depth, and therefore retaining more of its surface level thermal protection. This feature is a must for divers preparing to do longer, deeper dives.
Features:
- “S” Seal liquid polymer reinforced seams to add reliability and endurance to the seam.
- Tough and abrasion resistant exterior material.
