It also has a multi-coated wide-angle lens for scenics, and a point-and-shoot camera inside which can be removed for use above the water. Built of Lexan plastic and covered with a non-slip rubber armor, the camera housing is designed to coexist with the bumps and wet conditions encountered afloat.
A special "coral flash" compensates for the blue effect on deeper objects, without affecting the color of the surrounding water. For closeups at a range of 2 to 4, the optional Macro 3X lens slips easily onto the camera.
The camera lens is multi-coated to enhance red and yellow colors, reduce excessive blue, and reduce possible over-exposures from close-up flash operation. f=3.5 1/140 sec. ASA200.
